SansOx joins other Nordic companies at Sustainable Fashion Platform in Bangladesh

For the second time SansOx was invited to join the Sustainability Fashion Platform by Sweden event in Dhaka, Bangladesh. This event brings new technologies together to help the textile industry in Bangladesh to reach better results in sustainability with the help of sponsors H&M, Inter IKEA Group Lindex Group. The participating companies sat together with manufacturing companies and tackled the challenges that the factories have. One of the comments was that the low hanging fruits has been picked already and now we, the manufacturers, need ideas which could be outside of the box. 

The second day included a very interesting visit to one of the manufacturing facilities, Zaber & Zubair Fabrics Limited where we saw how big textile factory functions and how many different phases there is in modern textile factory. SansOx provides solutions to improve the water quality especially in the wastewater side. At the moment the recirculation of the water is not 100 % but the target is to reach zero liquid dicharge (ZLD) and all the factories are aiming to that with different timetables.
